Most of them die because the seal fails.&#xA;When hot quartz tubes hit &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;thick&lt;/a&gt; water vapor, it creates this weird thermal shock. If that seal isn&amp;rsquo;t perfect, moisture sneaks inside and hits the tungsten filament. It oxidizes almost instantly.**Snap.**That&amp;rsquo;s it. Dead lamp.&#xA;To stop this, we use damp-heat aging. Basically, we lock the lamps in a chamber that mimics years of bathroom steam and temperature swings, but we cram it all into a few weeks. We&amp;rsquo;re looking for leaks. We&amp;rsquo;re looking for coatings that peel. If a lamp can&amp;rsquo;t handle our chamber, it has no business being in a customer&amp;rsquo;s home.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
