Here is the thing about most bathroom heaters: they use tungsten-halogen lamps. These put out what’s called shortwave infrared. Now, a regular space heater just warms up the air. That’s fine, but air is lazy. It doesn’t always get into the corners. Shortwave heat is different. It actually sinks into your wet tiles and walls. It’s like a deep clean for your surfaces, pushing moisture out of the pores of the material way faster than just letting the room air dry.
Killing Mold Before It Starts
We’ve all seen those gross, damp corners where the air just stays still. That’s where mold loves to hang out. Our recessed units fix this by throwing heat in a wide cone. A Few Tips for the Install
These are designed to drop right into standard recessed housings, which makes life easy. Just make sure your seals are tight. If steam leaks into the electrical box, your filaments will burn out way sooner than they should. And one last thing: keep the quartz glass clean.
